Two flows that meet at the database: the client’s, which enters through the web and ends at the factory, and the technician’s, who loads recipes and prices so the engine can calculate.
Two-minute script It is a web quoter for aluminum-and-glass joinery, built for Grupo CPS. The client comes in, builds the window and gets a price; nobody has to attend them. They build the window step by step: aluminum line, window type, dimensions, glass, color and accessories. They can group several in a cart and send everything as one order. The price does not come from a per-square-meter table. The engine breaks the window down the way the factory would: profiles with their cuts, glass, hardware and shop hours, using the recipe for that line and window type. Then it adds margin and VAT. Everything the engine uses is loaded by the technician in an internal panel: profiles and prices per color, accessories, hours, and which WinMaker product applies. If a combination is missing something, the web shows “Coming soon” instead of a made-up price. When an order comes in, the factory gets a notification, sees it in the panel with the full breakdown and downloads a .PTO file that WinMaker opens directly to produce it.
