Two-minute script
- It is Grupo CPS’s stock system: what there is, where it is and which site it went to. It replaced spreadsheets, messages and memory.
- Three profiles use it: site managers and management look things up and request purchases; logistics and warehouse staff record purchases, transfers, vouchers and adjustments; the admin also manages users.
- Nobody types “40 bags left”. Every change is born from a numbered document that records a movement in an immutable ledger; the balance per warehouse is derived from it, and negative stock is impossible by design.
- Every rule lives in the database, in transactional functions: the interface only calls them. So even someone talking straight to the API cannot skip any of them.
- And the physical circuit is inside too: purchase orders, receipts and vouchers as PDFs with signature lines, the official exchange rate for purchases in dollars, and alerts for overdue requests, delayed transfers and stock below minimum.
